Why should I have a profesional video company?

Having a professional videographer means that you do not have to rely on a friend or relative to film your day. Even with their best efforts, they will not have the time or experience to make sure every important moment is caught on video.

Compare us with a wedding photographer – the disposable cameras you leave on the tables at the reception provide a lovely way to remember your day, but you don't expect them to compare with the pictures taken by your professional wedding photographer.

We have professional equipment and always use two cameras, our editors can work for up to a week to get your video right, we are here to give you the best product we possibly can.

What kind of equipment do you use?

To make sure you receive the best quality product we use broadcast quality Cannon XL1s and XL2 cameras with 3CCD chips. The cameras are able to retain quality and picture in all conditions from bright light outside to dimly lit churches.

For sound, we use Sennhieser microphones and radio microphones for the ceremony and speeches.

We also edit on purpose built non linear editing stations to complete your product.

Isn't a videographer intrusive?

Believe it or not, good wedding videographers are less intrusive than most photographers. We firmly believe in the sanctity of the wedding ceremony and strive to be very unobtrusive.

Our equipment is silent; we use long lenses so we are not in your faces. We use no lights during the ceremony (most churches won't allow it), and at the reception we use low-level, variable-output lights. You will hardly know we're there until you pick up your completed wedding video, and then you won't believe your eyes!

What does a Blank Canvas Wedding video include?

We are a documentary style Wedding Video company. Your completed DVD will consist of a main film of 45 minutes to 1 hour 40 minutes, depending on your package and wedding type.

The Gold and Silver packages include a 4-5 minute montage of the day edited to your choice of music. All packages will have fully interactive chapters just like you'd expect of a professional DVD. All of this is included in the cost of your package!

Can I see a complete wedding you have filmed instead of the showreel?

We also bring a copy of the showreel and a full wedding DVD with us when we meet our clients for the first time.

Can I choose my own music?

Music can be dubbed over the original soundtrack at the editing stage. If you have any favourite pieces of music, we will be more than happy to include them on your wedding video. In fact, we encourage you to select your own music, as this makes the video much more personal.

Do you use Cheesy special effects?

No we don't, generally we tend to steer clear of any special effects other than simple cross dissolves and slow motion shots – we feel that adding anything more complicated can appear gimmicky and distract from the film itself.

In some circumstances, we will use various effects if we think it adds to the style or mood of the video but on the whole we prefer to let the quality of our camera and editing work stand alone.
